Switching and controlling in the smart home
You can manually or automatically switch the devices used in your smart home individually, together in groups, or organized in templates and scenes. For example, you can switch on all LED lights in the living room manually at the touch of a button on FRITZ!DECT 440 or use an automatic switching schedule as a trigger.
For manual switching:
- FRITZ!App Smart Home (in the home network and from anywhere over the internet).
- FRITZ!DECT smart switch (when using a FRITZ!Box with FRITZ!OS 7.50 or later).
- door/window contact FRITZ!DECT 350 (by opening and closing the window or door).
- FRITZ!Fon (in the menu "Home Network > Smart Home").
- FRITZ!Box user interface (in the menu "Smart Home > Operation").
- the button on the device itself in the case of FRITZ!DECT radiator controls and FRITZ!DECT smart plugs.
For automatic switching:
- Switching schedules that are configured in the FRITZ!Box user interface in the menu "Smart Home" on the profile page of the respective device or group.
- routines for variable switching with if-then combinations (when using a FRITZ!Box with FRITZ!OS 7.50 or later).
