FRITZ!Box: Supported DSL lines

The FRITZ!Box supports all of the ADSL/VDSL standards and technologies used in Germany and most of the ones used in the rest of Europe. This means that the FRITZ!Box can be used with virtually any DSL line and can establish internet connections with speeds of up to 300 Mbit/s with supervectoring.

Supported DSL standards

  • Deutsche Telekom 1TR112 (VDSL2 / ADSL2+ / ADSL2 / ADSL)

    Note:All IP-based connections and all BNG connections from Deutsche Telekom are fully supported by the FRITZ!Box.

  • VDSL2 supervectoring 35b according to ITU G.993.2 (Annex Q)

    Note:In Austria, Telekom Austria also calls supervectoring Vectoring Plus, Vplus, or V+.

  • VDSL2 vectoring according to ITU G.998.4 / G.INP and G.993.5 / G.Vector
  • VDSL2 according to ITU G.993.2 (Annex A¹ and Annex B)
  • ADSL2+ according to ITU G.992.5 (Annex A¹, Annex B, Annex J, and Annex M¹)
  • ADSL2 according to ITU G.992.3 (Annex A¹, Annex B, Annex J, and Annex M¹)
  • ADSL according to ITU G.992.1 / G.dmt (Annex A¹ and Annex B)
    • ¹ Annex A and Annex M are only supported by the FRITZ!Box 7520 with the AVM article number 2000 2882.
