Determining the FRITZ!Box's MAC address

A MAC address (Media Access Control address) is the hardware address of a network interface (for example Wi-Fi) and serves as a unique identifier of a device in a network.

The MAC address at which computers or other devices can access the FRITZ!Box depends on whether the device is connected to the FRITZ!Box via a network cable or Wi-Fi.

Note:This guide is valid for FRITZ!OS 7.50 or later. If you are using an older FRITZ!OS version, the configuration may differ or functions may not be available. You can find the FRITZ!OS version on the "Overview" page of the FRITZ!Box user interface.
