FRITZ!Powerline 540E Service

Connecting FRITZ!Powerline with the home network via LAN

Connect the FRITZ!Powerline adapter to your router (for example FRITZ!Box) via LAN to expand your home network easily and efficiently with a single FRITZ!Powerline adapter. Since the FRITZ!Powerline adapter is connected to the router using a network cable, you can position it within or outside the wireless range of the router. Alternatively, you can use the FRITZ!Powerline adapter as a powerline or wireless bridge.

If the FRITZ!Powerline adapter and the wireless router use identical wireless settings, wireless devices can automatically connect with the wireless network with the strongest signal (wireless roaming).
