FRITZ!Powerline 510E Service

LEDs on FRITZ!Powerline do not light up

The LEDs on the FRITZ!Powerline adapter do not light up. The FRITZ!Powerline adapter can no longer be connected and does not transmit any more data.

Simply proceed as described below. After each measure, check whether the problem is solved.

1 FRITZ!Powerline adapter is in standby

All of the LEDs on the FRITZ!Powerline adapter go out when it is in standby mode. The adapter automatically switches to standby mode if no network cable is plugged into the adapter or there is no active device connected via LAN. The adapter wakes up as soon as a device is connected via LAN or the device connected via LAN is switched on.

2 Restarting the FRITZ!Powerline adapter

  1. Unplug the FRITZ!Powerline adapter.
  2. Plug the FRITZ!Powerline adapter back in after about 1 minute.

    Note:Restarting the FRITZ!Powerline adapter will not delete any of the settings.

3 Loading the factory settings by button

  1. Push the corresponding button on the device:

  2. All of the LEDs flash once during this process. The "Power" LED or "WLAN" LED remains lit as soon as the factory settings have finished loading.
