Calls drop when transferring calls, toggling calls, or using the consultation function

The call drops when you try to transfer it, toggling two calls, or consult with another party.

Cause

  • The telephony provider does not support the "toggling calls" function.

1 Enabling consultation, call transfer, and toggling of calls in the FRITZ!Box

Configure the FRITZ!Box so that the FRITZ!Box toggles calls, and not your telephony provider:

  1. Enter #610*9*#91** on your telephone and press the call key (pick up the handset).

    Note:You can restore the default setting of the FRITZ!Box by entering #610*2*#91**.

  2. Hang up again after about 3 seconds.
