Switching off the LEDs

The LEDs always inform you about the current operating and connection status of the outlet switch, for example FRITZ!DECT 200. If you do not need this information and the light bothers you, you can use the FRITZ!Box user interface to permanently switch off the LEDs.

  1. Open the FRITZ!Box user interface.
  2. Click "Device Management" in the "Smart Home" menu or click "Smart Home" in the "Home Network" menu.
  3. If available, select all of the smart home devices from the drop-down list.
  4. Click the (Edit) button for the respective smart home device.
  5. Click "Additional Settings" to display all of the settings.
  6. Disable the option "LED display on".
  7. Click "OK" to save the settings.

As soon as you push a button on the device, the LEDs briefly display the operating and connection status and automatically go out again after 60 seconds.
