FRITZ!Box 7581 Service

Forgot MyFRITZ! password

If you forgot the password for your MyFRITZ! account, request a new MyFRITZ! password and configure it in your FRITZ!Box.

Note:The configuration procedure and notes on functions given in this guide refer to the latest FRITZ!OS for your FRITZ!Box.

1 Requesting a new MyFRITZ! password

  1. Enter in a web browser.
  2. Click on the "Forgot your password?" link under the field for your MyFRITZ! password and the CAPTCHA "I'm not a robot".
  3. Solve the CAPTCHA.
  4. Enter the e-mail address you used to register with MyFRITZ! in the field.
  5. Click "Request New MyFRITZ! Password".
    • Now MyFRITZ! will send an e-mail to the e-mail address you entered.
  6. Open the e-mail from MyFRITZ! and click on the link to create a new password for your MyFRITZ! account.

    Important:If you did not receive the e-mail, it was probably moved to a different folder in your mailbox by a spam filter or forwarding rule. In this case, check all of the folders in your mailbox.

  7. Solve the CAPTCHA.
  8. Enter a password of your choice in the "New MyFRITZ! password" and "Confirm new password" fields and click "Save".
    • Now the new password is valid for your MyFRITZ! account.

2 Setting a new password for MyFRITZ! in the FRITZ!Box

  1. Click "Internet" in the FRITZ!Box user interface.
  2. Click "MyFRITZ! account" in the "Internet" menu.
  3. Click on the "Another MyFRITZ! account" link to the right of the e-mail address.
  4. Enable the option "Register the FRITZ!Box with an existing MyFRITZ! account".
  5. Enter the new password in the "MyFRITZ! password" field and click "Next".
