FRITZ!NAS displays macOS management files (e.g. .DS_Store)
macOS management files are displayed in the FRITZ!NAS user interface (http://fritz.nas). Such files include .DS_Store files and files with names that begin with "._". These files are not displayed when you use the Finder to access the storage.
- macOS automatically creates a management file for every file. It contains information necessary to display the file in the Finder (for example position and size of window). In addition, a .DS_Store file is created in every folder. By default, the macOS Finder does not display these management files. However, computers with different operating systems (for example Windows 10) and NAS systems such as the FRITZ!Box display these management files.
