FRITZ!Box 7490 Service

Connection interrupted when transferring calls, alternating between calls, or using consultation function

When you attempt to transfer a call, alternate between two calls, or consult with another party, the connection is interrupted.

Cause

  • The telephony provider does not support the "alternating between calls" function.

1 Enabling consultation, call transfer, and "alternating between calls" functions in FRITZ!Box

Configure the FRITZ!Box so that the FRITZ!Box "alternates between calls", and not your telephony provider:

  1. Enter #610*9*#91** on your telephone and press the call key (lift the receiver).

    Note:You can enter #610*2*#91** to re-enable the standard setting for the FRITZ!Box.

  2. Hang up again after about 3 seconds.
