Cannot print with USB printer connected to FRITZ!Box

A USB printer connected to the FRITZ!Box does not execute print jobs from a computer in the FRITZ!Box home network.

Checking and correcting how the printer is configured

Check the printer configuration and make any necessary corrections. The necessary steps depend on how you set up the printer:

  1. If you configured the printer as a network printer, follow the instructions in our guide Printer does not print when used as a network printer.
  2. If you set up the printer with the FRITZ!Box USB remote connection software, follow the instructions in our guide Printer does not print when used with the USB remote connection.
  3. If you are not sure how you configured the printer, set up the printer connected to the FRITZ!Box again.
