FRITZ!Box 7340 Service

Cannot upload files to FRITZ!NAS with Internet Explorer 8

You cannot use the Microsoft Internet Explorer 8 to upload files to the FRITZ!NAS user interface (http://fritz.nas).

Cause

  • A web browser that supports HTML5 is required to use FRITZ!NAS. Internet Explorer 8 does not sufficiently support HTML5 or other current web standards and technologies.

1 Installing a current web browser

  • Install the Internet Explorer 9 or later,

    Note:You can use Windows Update to install the latest version of the Internet Explorer. 

    • or:
  • Install a different current web browser (for example Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox).
