Pushing a button (WPS) to set up a wireless connection to the FRITZ!Box

You want to connect with the FRITZ!Box via wireless LAN? ✔ The WPS button makes it especially simple and easy to do.

Many Android smartphones, Windows computers, wireless speakers, and other wireless devices support the WPS method (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) to set up wireless connections automatically. You can quickly and easily connect these devices to the wireless network (WiFi) of your FRITZ!Box by pushing a button. During this procedure, the FRITZ!Box's encryption settings are securely transmitted to the wireless device, which then stores them permanently.

In this guide we show you how to easily connect your wireless devices with your FRITZ!Box by pushing a button (WPS PBC - Push Button Configuration).

If your wireless devices do not support the WPS method, proceed as described in the guide Setting up a wireless connection to the FRITZ!Box manually.
