FRITZ!Box reports "The modifications to your FRITZ!Box are not supported by the manufacturer"
The FRITZ!Box functions properly, however the message "The modifications to your FRITZ!Box are not supported by the manufacturer" is displayed in the "Overview" page of the user interface.
- A failed update could be the cause, or you installed or attempted to install FRITZ!OS that was either not suitable or not released for the FRITZ!Box model being used.
1 Applying the recovery tool
- Use the recovery tool to reset the FRITZ!Box.
