Telephone numbers are missing after automatic configuration
After automatic configuration, one or more telephone numbers are missing under "Telephony > Telephone Numbers" in the user interface.
Important:If you received your FRITZ!Box from your cable provider as part of your service contract, your telephone numbers are automatically configured in the FRITZ!Box as soon as you connect the FRITZ!Box to the cable connection. It is not possible to manually add telephone numbers from your cable provider later.
Simply proceed as described below. After each measure, check whether the problem is solved.
1 Loading the FRITZ!Box factory settings
An error may have occurred during automatic configuration. Therefore, restore the FRITZ!Box to its factory settings so you can initiate the automatic configuration of your telephone numbers again:
- Load the FRITZ!Box's factory settings.
2 Contacting your provider
- If telephone numbers are still missing, contact your cable provider directly.
Note:First, you must find out whether the missing telephone numbers are stored on your cable provider's Auto Configuration Server (ACS). However, only your provider's employees can check this.
