MyFRITZ!App 2 reports "Too Many Login Attempts"

MyFRITZ!App 2 cannot be opened. When you start MyFRITZ!App 2, the error message "Too Many Login Attempts. Please wait a moment before trying to log in again" is displayed.

1 Restarting the FRITZ!Box

You can use the app again after you restart the FRITZ!Box:

  1. Click "System" in the FRITZ!Box user interface.
  2. Click "Backup" or "Reset" in the "System" menu.
  3. Click on the "Restart" tab (if available).
  4. Click the "Restart" button.
