File formats supported by FRITZ!App Media

With FRITZ!App Media you can play all of the music, image and video files as well as web radio programs and podcasts made available by the FRITZ!Box Media Server.

Important:Not all Android devices can play all of the file formats (for example audio, video and container formats) supported by the FRITZ!Box Media Server. You can find information on which file formats are supported in the manual, or consult the manufacturer of the device directly.

The FRITZ!Box Media Server supports the following file formats:

Note:If the FRITZ!Box cannot interpret the TAG information of a particular media file (marked with an asterisk in the table), then FRITZ!App Media only displays it in the view "Folder" and "All tracks", "All videos" or "All images" (depending on the file type).
