FRITZ!App Fon Service

FRITZ!App Fon reports "The FRITZ!Box used does not support FRITZ!App Fon"

When setting up FRITZ!App Fon, the error message "The FRITZ!Box used does not support FRITZ!App Fon. Please check whether a firmware update is available" is displayed. FRITZ!App Fon cannot be used.

Cause

  • An incorrect product was selected during setup, for example a FRITZ!WLAN Repeater.

Selecting a FRITZ!Box

  1. Start FRITZ!App Fon.
  2. Tap "More" and then "Settings".
  3. Select "FRITZ!Box" in the "Account Information" section.
  4. Select your FRITZ!Box from the list and tap "Connect".
