The new FRITZ!Repeater 3000: more wireless throughput and range

With the FRITZ!Repeater 3000, AVM has added a powerful Mesh WiFi repeater to its portfolio. Thanks to innovative technology and three radio units, the tri-band repeater offers extended range and high levels of data throughput in the wireless network. An additional 5 GHz band allows users to connect all devices in the FRITZ! home network. This separate band allows wireless routers and the FRITZ!Repeater 3000 to communicate with each other. This makes the distribution of data even more efficient. This ensures users will always have stable connections with high data throughput level, whether they're playing games, streaming or just checking their emails. Thanks to the new housing design, the Mesh WiFi repeater can be placed anywhere in the home. In addition, users can easily integrate it into the FRITZ! home network at the touch of a button. The FRITZ!Repeater 3000's power consumption is also impressive, remaining low despite the repeater's high performance. Alongside the popular and powerful FRITZ!Repeater 1750E, the new FRITZ!Repeater 3000 rounds out AVM's portfolio of Mesh WiFi products for top wireless performance. The Mesh Master for the new FRITZ!Repeater is the FRITZ!Box. It provides all repeaters with the best Mesh performance, high data throughput and updates – directly from the internet connection.

Three radio units for optimum data transmission

The new FRITZ!Repeater 3000 uses both the 2.4-GHz and 5-GHz frequency range concurrently. The new repeater transmits in the 2.4 GHz band as well as in two separate 5 GHz bands through the three radio units (tri-band). The Mesh WiFi repeater communicates with the FRITZ!Box via the additional 5-GHz band for optimum connection of all devices in the Mesh WiFi. The other two bands are therefore free to communicate with end devices. This guarantees high data throughput for multiple wireless devices simultaneously in the home network. Intelligent technologies such as band steering, AP steering (11v, 11k), crossband repeating and self-healing functions ensure that all mobile devices such as tablets and notebooks are always optimally supplied with WiFi. Via the tri-band repeater's two gigabit LAN ports, network-compatible devices can also be integrated via cable. With free updates of the intelligent FRITZ!OS operating system, the Mesh WiFi repeater regularly receives new features and security fixes.

Quick and easy to configure

The FRITZ!Repeater 3000 can be configured in no time at all. Thanks to the new, vertical housing design, the repeater can be placed anywhere in the home and is integrated into the FRITZ! home network at the touch of a button. The tri-band repeater automatically adopts all FRITZ!Box settings, such as the wireless network name (SSID), password, night service, guest network settings and automatic updates. The FRITZ!Box is the Mesh Master, implementing all settings and adjustments centrally to ensure optimum wireless performance everywhere. In addition, the LEDs on the FRITZ!Repeater 3000 the setup and quality of the connection between the repeater and the FRITZ!Box. Users can also use the FRITZ!App WLAN to find the perfect position for their Mesh WiFi repeater. The repeater offers a secure wireless LAN encryption ex works. In addition, the new FRITZ!Repeater is energy efficient, both during operation and on standby mode.
