New entry-level router for all DSL connections supports supervectoring, mesh and Smart Home
With the FRITZ!Box 7530, AVM is introducing an entry-level model for DSL in a brand new design onto the market. With the help of supervectoring technology the new FRITZ!Box supports speeds of up to 300 Mbit/s. Thanks to 2 x 2 dual band Wireless AC + N (866 Mbit/s + 400 Mbit/s) with Multi-User MIMO, the FRITZ!Box 7530 guarantees speedy and stable WiFi performance. The FRITZ!Box 7530 supports mesh WiFi, meaning videos, music and photos are available wirelessly throughout users' home networks. Features include four gigabit LAN ports and a fast USB port, as well as a telephone system for IP-based connections and a DECT base station. The new FRITZ!OS 7 brings with it a mix of familiar features and new possibilities - such as the integration of ULE-based Smart Home products from other manufacturers. The FRITZ!Box 7530 is on sale now for 149 Euros (RRP).
Like AVM's DSL top model, the FRITZ!Box 7590, the new FRITZ!Box 7530 can be used at all DSL connections and is especially suited for fast supervectoring connections. Thanks to improvements in the frequency range, from 17 MHz to 35 MHz, and the latest vectoring technology, 35b supervectoring, the FRITZ!Box 7530 allows download rates of up to 300 Mbit/s and upload rates of 50 MBit/s. The sleek entry-level router in a compact, white housing is equipped with 2 x 2 dual-band wireless AC + N in the 2.4 and 5-GHz bands, four gigabit LAN ports and a fast USB port. A DECT base station for telephone, Smart Home features as well as a port for analog telephones offer great convenience in the home network. With the new FRITZ!OS 7, the FRITZ!Box 7530 benefits from AVM's latest Mesh innovations. These include seamlessly extending the mesh network using FRITZ!WLAN repeaters and FRITZ!Powerline devices, as well as users now being able to integrate an additional FRITZ!Box into their Mesh networks, including the WiFi, telephony and Smart Home interfaces, extending WiFi to all corners of the home. Alongside the familiar FRITZ!DECT products, the latest FRITZ!OS makes it possible for Smart Home devices from other manufacturers that support the HAN FUN protocol (DECT ULE) to be used directly with a FRITZ!Box - for example, compatible wall switches, door-window contacts and motion sensors. Used in combination with the FRITZ!DECT 200 and FRITZ!DECT 210 smart plugs, the FRITZ!Box 7530 can be used in a number of different Smart Home situations.
