AVM is presenting FRITZ!Powerline 1000E, a new powerline product for data throughput of up to 1 Gbit/s over electrical wiring. Gigabit powerline is based on the HomePlug AV2 specification and builds on the MIMO technology developed for wireless LAN for increased data throughput. Like all other FRITZ!Powerline products, the new gigabit powerline device is securely encrypted with a unique key upon delivery. The new gigabit product is also downward compatible to 200 Mbit/s and 500 Mbit/s adapters.
FRITZ!Powerline 546E is the first AVM product that combines wireless LAN and powerline technology. The new multifunctional device allows network devices to be linked over powerline, Wireless N and two LAN ports. FRITZ!Powerline 546E also includes a smart plug. The new powerline adapter can switch electrical devices on and off and measure their power consumption. FRITZ!Powerline 546E provides for wireless LAN access to its powerline network, where it functions as both wireless access point and repeater. This makes Wireless N with data throughput of up to 300 Mbit/s available even in rooms that would otherwise not have wireless coverage.
In FRITZ!Powerline 540E AVM has combined power line technology and Wireless N with 300 Mbit/s ports in a single, affordably priced product. With the FRITZ!Powerline adapter data are first sent to a power outlet over the power line at a rate of up to 500 Mbit/s. From there the data can be sent on via Wireless N (2.4 GHz) or LAN to a tablet, printer or TV.
With FRITZ!Powerline 530E AVM introduces a new member of the Powerline product family for secure, fast home networking from the power outlet. The new model with an integrated socket is extremely energy efficient, with power consumption of only 2 watts during operation. The new 530E adapter is based on the 500-Mbit/s standard for data transmission over the power line. Stable network connections are possible with significantly lower power consumption, especially over greater distances. The new FRITZ!Powerline Set is individually encrypted ex works, enabling the immediate launch of secure operation.
AVM is expanding its Powerline product range with the FRITZ!Powerline 510E. The model is even more energy efficient during his operation and economical in standby mode. Thanks to his minimal dimensions, it can be plugged into any socket incon-spicuously. Just like present AVM Powerline products with gigabit LAN, the new product also offer data transfer speeds of up to 500 Mbit/s via the existing power supply. FRITZ!Powerline is ideally suited to high-speed home networking with a NAS link, HD and 3D entertainment, and music and video streaming from anywhere in the home.
The new FRITZ!Powerline 500E from FRITZ!Box manufacturer AVM simply and conveniently expands the home network via the existing power supply, with every socket in the house capable of being used to establish a network connection. This makes it possible to connect network-enabled devices to the FRITZ!Box from greater distances, without having to lay any new cables. Data transfer rates of up to 500 Mbit/s even support demanding broadband applications such as HD and 3D videos, and Internet TV. Ex works encryption ensures secure data transfer from the start.
