FRITZ!Fon C6 declared test winner by Stiftung Warentest

In the April 2021 issue of the Stiftung Warentest magazine, German's leading consumer organization has named the FRITZ!Fon C6 the winner of a test of 13 cordless telephones. The FRITZ!Fon C6 is the only phone to get a one in front of the decimal point, with a quality rating of 1.9 (good). Highlights include the best hands-free system in the product test, how well the phone works with a FRITZ!Box and the good voice quality. The testers summed it up by saying: "The best telephone for connecting to a DECT router is AVM's FRITZ!Fon C6".

The FRITZ!Fon C6 came out on top in the "Telephony" category with a rating of 2.2 (good). The FRITZ!Fon C6 was the only phone in the test to receive an individual score of "good" for the hands-free system. According to Stiftung Warentest, the headset jack is also a plus. Furthermore, the use of HD codecs ensures top voice quality.

The FRITZ!Fon C6 also scores points for the integrated operation of the FRITZ!Box answering machine, says Stiftung Warentest: “FRITZ!Fon and FRITZ!Box are specially designed to work together, with the FRITZ!Fon able to control the answering machine in the FRITZ!Box via a dedicated menu."
