World first: FRITZ!Box 6660 Cable with Wi-Fi 6 certified for DOCSIS 3.1

The FRITZ!Box 6660 Cable has received certification for broadband networks based on the DOCSIS 3.1/3.0 standard.

The FRITZ!Box 6660 Cable has received DOCSIS 3.1 certification from CableLabs – a world first for a router for cable connections that supports Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax). CableLabs is an association of international cable network providers and has developed the DOCSIS standard for fast Internet via cable television.

With DOCSIS data rates of up to 6 Gbit/s and the latest wireless networking standard Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), as well as a 2.5 gigabit LAN port, the FRITZ!Box 6660 Cable is fully equipped for top speeds and convenient home networking. Familiar FRITZ!Box features such as cordless DECT telephony, Smart Home and USB are also on board.

The FRITZ!Box 6660 Cable is available in Germany now, with an international product launch coming soon.
