FRITZ!OS – more versatile and user-friendly than ever

AVM is taking advantage of the wide audience at this year's CeBIT to introduce the upcoming version of its FRITZ!OS. This is the operating system of the FRITZ!Box and FRITZ! products, which provides for the wide range of product functions.

Central updates and more flexible parental controls

New in FRITZ!OS is the home network overview, in which you can keep an eye on all of the devices connected with your FRITZ!Box. This is also a central location where you can update all of your FRITZ!WLAN Repeater models and other FRITZ! products. A special new wizard makes it easy to switch your landline telephony into an IP-based configuration.

The FRITZ!Fon devices also benefit from the upcoming FRITZ!OS. The DECT phones feature five new, individually selectable start screens. And then you also have the option of changing the font size of the menu. The beloved parental controls feature now offers even more flexibility, with an easy way to spontaneously extend online time.

Wireless LAN Monitor with more details

With the Wireless LAN Monitor, the "traffic load" in wireless networks can be analyzed at any time. This Monitor now displays even more detailed information on the wireless network. All radio networks in the vicinity and any potential sources of interference for your FRITZ!Box are presented at a glance. You can then simply switch to another, better channel directly in the user interface.
