Now available: FRITZ!Box 3270
With the FRITZ!Box 3270, users can make the most of their DSL connection. The WLAN N router with integrated DSL modem and data transfer rates of up to 300 Mbit/s connects computers and other devices quickly and securely to the Internet.
FRITZ!Box 3270 – ideal for all broadband applications
The FRITZ!Box 3270 is perfectly suited to getting full benefit from ADSL and ADSL2+ connections of up to 24 Mbit/s and, as a WLAN N router with integrated DSL modem, offers a myriad of networking possibilities. Thanks to WLAN and four Ethernet ports, computers and other network devices can be quickly and securely connected to the Internet. Whether you’re surfing, streaming, using video on demand or watching IPTV, the FRITZ!Box 3270 is sure to get the most out of every DSL connection.
Lots of extras for home networks – and smartphones too
The USB 2.0 port offers a range of ways to use USB devices such as printers and hard drives across the entire network, and extended NAS functionality with media server and integrated online storage media opens up new home networking possibilities as users can access media such as music, photos and movies from anywhere within the network – even when the computer’s switched off. The comprehensive software package, which is continually updated free of charge with firmware updates, includes additional features such as a firewall, parental control, WLAN night service and WLAN guest access. Android smartphones and iPhones can also be integrated into the home network, allowing users to make calls over the Internet.
Fast and secure WLAN N in the 2.4 and 5 GHz frequency ranges
The WLAN N radio standard and MIMO multiple antenna technology ensure quick data throughput of up to 300 Mbit/s along with an impressive range. The FRITZ!Box 3270 supports WLAN N in the 2.4 GHz and lower-interference 5 GHz frequency ranges. Thanks to preconfigured WPA2 encoding, the WLAN connection has already been made secure at the factory.
Low energy consumption – secure remote access
Depending on user preference, WLAN can either be switched on and off manually using the WLAN button or automatically with the night service. Whilst WLAN is in use, the WLAN Eco Mode adapts the required transmission power in line with individual circumstances. Unused interfaces are automatically switched off and the processor output of the FRITZ!Box minimized whenever it’s in hibernation. The FRITZ!Box 3270 also makes secure remote access possible: using a VPN (virtual private network) connection, users can access the network – and therefore all devices connected to it – securely over the Internet.
