Stiftung Warentest and c't: AVM wins big

Our flagship FRITZ!Box, FRITZ!Repeater and FRITZ!Powerline adapter have aced comparison tests from consumer organization Stiftung Warentest and c't magazine. The FRITZ!WLAN Repeater 1750E was awarded best WiFi repeater by consumer organization Stiftung Warentest, while the FRITZ!Powerline 1260E WLAN Set was named the best powerline set. In addition, the FRITZ!Box 7590 got top marks in the supervectoring router comparison carried out by computer magazine c't.

A "solid, value-for-money problem solver"

The FRITZ!WLAN Repeater 1750E led the ranking in the Stiftung Warentest's WiFi repeater category. The repeater was noted for its top performance and ease of use. In almost all categories the FRITZ!WLAN Repeater 1750E got better marks than the other test participants, including the rating of "very good" for ease of use.

The FRITZ!Powerline 1260E WLAN Set also scored big in the Stiftung Warentest's comparison. The perfect combination of powerline and WiFi, the set got the best results when testing data transmission.

FRITZ!Box 7590 continues to ride the wave of success

The experts from c't computer magazine tested five routers that support supervectoring, with AVM's flagship FRITZ!Box 7590 the clear winner. From top features to wireless data throughput: the flagship model was awarded the rating "very good" in almost all test areas. With the FRITZ!Box 7590, customers in Germany are ready for the latest, high-speed supervectoring plans with up to 250 Mbit/s. The router was also praised for the low power consumption in comparison with the other test products.
