Note: Passwords for third-party Internet services (for example e-mail) also have to be changed with the corresponding provider.
Change your passwords regularly
Delete all unknown IP telephones to make sure that they cannot be used to make unauthorized calls and in order to assign new passwords. If necessary, set up the configured IP telephones again:
- Click "Telephony" in the FRITZ!Box user interface.
- Click "Telephony Devices" in the "Telephony" menu.
- You can recognize IP telephones because they are designated as "LAN/WLAN". Click the corresponding "Delete" button to delete all registered IP telephones.
- IP telephones already configured can be assigned a new password IP telephones that were set up using FRITZ!App Fon can be set up again using the app.
