Changing the password for MyFRITZ! or Dynamic DNS

1 Changing the MyFRITZ! password

  1. Call up myfritz.net in a web browser.
  2. Click "More" and then "Change MyFRITZ! Password".
  3. Enter the e-mail address you used to register with MyFRITZ! in the field.
  4. Respond to the CAPTCHA and click "Log in".
  5. Enter your MyFRITZ! password and press the Enter key.
  6. Enter the password you have been using in the "Current password" field. In the "MyFRITZ! password" and "Password confirmation" fields, enter a new password and click "Save".
  7. Click "Internet" in the FRITZ!Box user interface.
  8. Click "MyFRITZ! account" or "MyFRITZ!" in the "Internet" menu.
  9. Click on the "Another MyFRITZ! account" or "Other user account" link to the right of the e-mail address.
  10. Enable the option "Register the FRITZ!Box with an existing MyFRITZ! account".
  11. Enter the new password in the "MyFRITZ! password" field and click "Next".

2 Changing the dynamic DNS password

  1. Change the password saved with your dynamic DNS provider.

    Note:Normally you can change your password in your personal customer area on your provider's website. Should you have any questions about how to change it, please contact the provider.

  2. Click "Internet" in the FRITZ!Box user interface.
  3. Click "Permit Access" in the "Internet" menu.
  4. Click on the "Dynamic DNS" tab.

    Note:The "Dynamic DNS" tab is only displayed if the "Advanced View" is enabled in the user interface (bottom/middle: ).

  5. Enter the new password in the "Password" field.
  6. Click "Apply" to save the settings.
