Changing the password for MyFRITZ! or Dynamic DNS

1 Changing the MyFRITZ! password

  1. Call up in a web browser.
  2. In the corresponding fields, enter the email address and MyFRITZ! password you used to register with MyFRITZ!, and click "Log In".
  3. Solve the CAPTCHA.
  4. Click on the three dot icon in the upper-right corner of the web page and then "Account Settings".
  5. Click "Change Password".
  6. Enter the password you have been using in the "Current password" field. Enter the new password in the "New password" and "Confirm new password" fields.
  7. Click "Save" to save the new password.
  8. Click "Internet" in the FRITZ!Box user interface.
  9. Click "MyFRITZ! account" or "MyFRITZ!" in the "Internet" menu.
  10. Click the "Another MyFRITZ! account" or "Other user account" link to the right of the email address.
  11. Enable the option "Register the FRITZ!Box with an existing MyFRITZ! account".
  12. Enter the new password in the "MyFRITZ! password" field and click "Next".

2 Changing the dynamic DNS password

  1. Change the password saved with your dynamic DNS provider.

    Note:Normally you can change your password in your personal customer area on your provider's website. Should you have any questions about how to change it, please contact the provider.

  2. Click "Internet" in the FRITZ!Box user interface.
  3. Click "Permit Access" in the "Internet" menu.
  4. Click on the "DynDNS" or "Dynamic DNS" tab. If the tab is not displayed, enable the Advanced View first.
  5. Enter the new password in the "Password" field.
  6. Click "Apply" to save the settings.
